Train with us at The Marsh Studio.
"This is an absolutely fantastic training opportunity and experience!!!! Rebekah and Julianna share a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and they teach and demonstrate together as if they're of one mind.....amazing! I had the experience of a lifetime when I attended the first teacher training at Marsh Studio (the most wonderful studio and its owners who are truly very special people) in May. I came away with technical incite, many more tools in my toolbox for helping and guiding beginning students, a whole new teaching approach for developing students (yeah global learning!!!), and most importantly: life-long friends and mentors. If you're thinking of doing it...don't hesitate....sign up ASAP!!!" ~ Lorraine B. |

There is a huge difference between teachers who can show and talk about textbook information, versus ones who live, breathe, apply, and truly understand the information. Julianna is the type who lives, breathes, and applies and is able to really break all the information down into something amazing. ~Monica C.
This training is very effective in bringing concepts and teaching tools full circle. It's great for mapping out a curriculum that keeps students safe, engaged, and progressing. ~ Lauren J.

Studio & lodging
Ask anyone who has been to the Marsh Studio: it is a magical place. On the Atlantic coast in Georgia, the studio features natural lighting in a quiet setting, 21' ceilings, and 9 adjustable rig points. Training is intense, but your time off will feel like a retreat with bikes, kayaks, a hot tub, and dinner on the screened porch.
Lodging is available in a marsh front vacation home adjacent to the studio, so no driving is necessary! Evening meals, hosted by legendary trapeze artist Susan Murphy and her husband Don Carson, will be provided on four of the training days. To Register:

"I've had a great week back to teaching after Lyra 1. The training gave me so many tools and ideas to expand and freshen up what and how I teach. I am applying this to my fabric class as well. Thank you! Looking forward to Lyra 2." ~ Jamie V. This training was excellent! Julianna has a very warm inviting presence and light spirit that invited questions and built community. ~Eileen F. The instructor was very knowledgeable from many perspectives. She brought her experience from dance training, circus arts, movement analysis, and yoga. Love it! ~Julie W. "The safety instruction I received was invaluable. It opened my eyes to the danger but also left me feeling comfortable to teach a safe and therapeutic aerial yoga class. "This practice [of aerial yoga] is so 'freeing' unlike other fitness practices. Julianna had a great relaxing energy, making everyone feel appreciated and comfortable." Host a Training
