Videos and articles to keep you informed.
Kamikaze Drop Warning

The first time that Rebekah Leach posted this video in 2013, it received over 6,000 views in just 72 hours.  Sadly, story after story flooded in about people getting injured falling out of this drop because they weren't aware of the dangers.

Having partial information can be dangerous. It's possible to do this drop correctly, but aerialists should be FULLY informed of what they are doing and how it could possibly go wrong.
Fabric Stretch Comparison

You may recognize this video from Aerial Essentials.  They loved this video so much, we let them use it to help customers understand what they are buying.  This is the kind of helpful we want to be around here!

This document by Teresa Kochis (Overhead Arts) helps students put home rigging into the proper perspective.

Would You Hang Your Car On That?

This handout is great to promote the ideas of safe rigging. Many times students want to jump into rigging at home far before they are ready to handle all the safety concerns associated with safe rigging. This poster makes them stop and think twice - in a fun way.

This handout is available for you to print and post in your local studio. This handout was contributed by the creators Jordan Anderson and Clayton Woodson, founders of Aerial Fit and Circus Building. For more of their resources, visit the Circus Building website.
